Your logo is the most memorable element of your business. It's the center of your identity and will have a lot to do with how your customers think about you and your business. Having a professionally designed logo will give you a leg up on the competition, because people are more likely to work with a company that portrays an image of professionalism than one that has a "grassroots" look.

I have few pet peeves, but among them are businesses that have logos that are
a) made from those silly stick figure illustrations that come with Microsoft Office or
b) clearly drawn by someone's friend's cousin who took an art class once.

Logos are serious business. And it goes beyond just logos--there is also the question of letterhead and the ever-important business card.

A few years ago, I started Business Identity Center as a way to offer high-quality logos to a wide audience using the web. You can see the kind of work I do there or go to the portfolio on this site.
